Caciocavallo affumicato Campotenese

  • Smoked Caciocavallo has the distinct bouquet and taste of wood smoke. Moulded by hand into a pear shape, just like its unsmoked cousin, this cheese is characterised by its brownish exterior, distinctive scent and delicate woodsmoke flavour. The light smoking really adds another dimension of flavour: try it grilled with some chopped tomatoes, a little garlic and a drizzle of olive oil.
